Default can i file the papper before or after I leave

My wife and I are separated and she is already seeing someone else. I am trying to get in touch with her so that we can file for divorce. I due to leave So. Cal. here soon and relocate to Atl. Ga.
I do not have her current address to send the Summary Dissolution of Marriage papers to I just have her mother's. We have no kids together we have only been married since 08Nov03 we have no property between the two of us we both do have 2 car loans one is in her name the other is in mine. The only debt that we have between the two of us is an eviction from an apartment complex where we both live the lease was in her name. As I stated earlier I am about to leave Ca. and would like to get the ball rolling. My questions are can I still file and get this taken care of w/o her signature, if not can I get it started and still be able to take of things from Ga. or do I need wait until I get to Ga. establish resident and then file from there.

    Default Service on Ex-Wife

You don't necessarily need your wife's signature - but you do need to be able to serve her with legal papers. Perhaps you can get a forwarding address through the post office.

They should, if it is on record.

Check with the court in the county where she would have filed.
