    In the State of California, what is the statute of limitation to file a lawsuit for legal malpractice?

    As is explained here, one year from the date of discovery of the malpractice (the date the malpractice was or reasonably should have been discovered) but no more than four years from the date that the malpractice is alleged to have occurred.
