If you have filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy case, can your creditors force you to convert it to a Chapter 7 case?
In a sense, yes. If you can't make your Chapter 13 payments, your creditors may press for conversion of your case to Chapter 7 or for dismissal of your case. If you are able and willing to convert to Chapter 7 at that time, you could pursue a conversion. That may be better for you than a dismissal of your bankruptcy case.
