Default What Can Happen to a Roommate Who Moves Out Without Giving Notice

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Indiana

So, my roomate was a horrendous individual...she was emotionally abusive when we were living together. I moved out back home without notice. I paid one month's rent after I left and she is breathing down my neck constantly, telling me I owe her more and that I need to continue paying rent and utilities. I cannot afford to do that and start living in my new state. The roomate has no information other than the state I've moved to and my new phone number. She even went as far as harassing my brother about it when I first changed my number. Can she really do anything at all now that I've moved out of state? How do I tell her I will not be paying anymore???

We rented as joint tenants. There was no where in the lease that spaded one of us was to pay half and the other was to pay the other half, it was all just together so basically the complex doesn’t care as long as they get their money in a sense.

Then yes, she can sue you for your portion of the rent. Or, if she doesn't pay rent and gets evicted, then the landlord will sue both of you.
