My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Indiana
Having some troubles with search, pretty much anywhere, but trying to find some answers. In Indiana, in a public school parking lot, who is responsible for enforcement? If a school directs it's staff to block handicapped parking with traffic cones in the morning to "help flow of traffic", who can one speak to when the school refuses to open these spots? I know there is an ADA violation the police aren't responsible for, but is there a traffic violation for impeding the use of these spots?
Most states are pretty clear that a public school is public property, therefore, if the school won't make the spots accessible, then the police can intervene, but I can't find anything specific in Indiana's code about traffic violations on school property.
TIA!
