My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: New York

Need some feedback and opinions please on a troubling employment situation.

Currently employed in a civil service position on probation doing heavy data entry and coding for welfare benefits. The unit composition is as follows. 12 woman 2 men. The three unit supervisors are all female. The entire office composition for the rest of the office is 150 woman and only 6 men. Out of the 150 woman every single supervisor in every single rank is a female. Not one male has been promoted up the ranks. The current unit Im in has traditionally been all woman up until 4 months ago when I got there. Word was the supervisor HATES men and prefers to have an all female staff.

Prior to this unit I was in another unit with all females and those supervisors gave me high glowing reviews. The second I get into this unit with the man hating supervisor my performance review went downhill. Granted the assignment is much harder and the work is very challenging but I also know Im not terrible at what i do. I now have weekly performance meetings with the man hater every single week on on Fridays. The performance meeting is witnessed by two other female supervisors who just sit there remaining quiet and listen to the man hater give her belittling condescending speech about poor work performance and everything under the sun that needs improvement. According to her there are many things wrong with the work. The troubling part is when the head supervisor emails her summary of the meeting she includes factually wrong embellished information that I believe is very inaccurate. For example she will state a report has 8 errors in it when at most it only had two relatively minor errors. Or that a case I completed in one hour she will exaggerate and states that it took 4 to 5 hours to finish which is a complete lie. She never praises the good in her memos and appears very biased in her writing style. The report is not objective at all. It doesn't mention the things I do well, it just points out the bad. When she does point out the bad its mostly exaggerated and embellished to make my work look poor. After the meeting she documents and emails me the summary of the meeting. She then copies the email and sends it to her supervisors up the rank and file.

The training here is basically non existent. The supervisor has plenty to say about my performance but really hasn't sat down with me at all to train me on these difficult task. Other employees in other counties get several months training in a classroom setting to do the same exact title and position. Where I am its two weeks and that's it which isn't very realistic.

So what do I do to fight back?

Do you think Im being set up to be terminated or can i survive the next 2 months and get off probation alive?

Also Im sick and tired of going into these performance meetings once a week and being ganged up on by three woman. It makes me very uncomfortable. Ideas, strategies?

I'm a civil servant and represented by a union.

Your input is appreciated!
