My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: Missouri

My father in law passed away in 2008 and my wife was his only child and the court appointed rep. Probate was settled in 2010 and in 2012 the State of Missouri Dept of Revenue filed a Tax Lien against my deceased father in law. Several months after the Tax Lien was filed there was a Satisfaction of Judgment Filed on the case. We did not pay the tax bill, so did the state forgive or write off this since my father in law was deceased? We need to reopen probate and are wondering if this pervious judgment will cause an issue with the new items that will be presented for judgment?
