    Default Card Fraud Under $750

My question involves criminal law for the state of: indiana

I had a detective claim he caught me on camera stealing a card from my job and using it elsewhere. The total was under 150 he claims. He said in three or four weeks he would have a warrant for me. I have a new job and I like life right now. That was over a month ago. How long should I hold my breath for. He called twice and asked for a confession both times. I was barely able to speak with him. Obviously it doesn’t pay to talk to detectives but I listened.

Do not speak to him. If he had sufficient proof, the charges would be filed. I'd be researching lawyers.

If it was exactly $750 or more, then it is a felony and they have five years to commence prosecution.
If it is less than $750, they have two years.
