    You should ask the building inspector if your bedroom qualifies as a habitable space under the applicable code provision. We are not in a position to assess the space.

    You are apparently looking at a vehicle code, with the idea that the definitions provided within the vehicle code are somehow relevant to the provisions of the building code. You're barking up the wrong tree.
