Default How to Pay a Ticket After You Lose Your Copy and Default

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: New Mexico

In Jan 2015 I received speeding ticket on Interstate 40 in New Mexico while I was driving from texas to california.

That time I had International Driving Licence (Indian Driving Licence) and was charged for Penalty Assessment(That means I agree that I am guilty of charge and have to pay the penalty)

However, after reaching to California I had lost Ticket and details of it and using DMV website and Contact Number I could not retrieve any information.

Recently I found the Citation/Ticket and wanted to pay the penalty.

But I am unable to understand if I should go online on the following website and do the payment using citation/ticket number or I should contact to somebody in DMV and do the payment (note their number 888-683-4636 doesnt help at all) https://eservices.mvd.newmexico.gov/eTapestry/_/

Please guide me how to resolve this

An "international driver's license" is a translation of your foreign driver's license. Possession of an "international driver's license" alone does not make it lawful for you to drive. You refer to an Indian driver's license -- that wa your actual driver's license.

If you can pay the ticket online, then nothing is stopping you from doing exactly that. It would make sense to verify with the New Mexico DMV that your driving privileges have not been suspended as a result of the default. If they have, you'll have to pay an additional reinstatement fee once you have paid off the ticket and a clearance has been issued by the court to the DMV.

I appreciate your response Mr. Knowitall. Yes you are right International Driver License = I was using Indian Driving License since I had landed recently in USA was told that I can use my Indian License for One Year.

I am trying my best to contact DMV but most of the time it is no answer or some weird IVR options.

I doing payment online will wait for any response.

However, I am miffed because today when I am checking my ticket I do see that my birthdate is wrong and also is my address.
So now while online payment I need to enter my wrong DOB and submit payment,.
