My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

Hello,
As the topic said - I was charged with "Unlawful discharge of Firearm: SCC B14 31.1" - for shooting an Airgun at paper targets which I set up in an remote area that turned out to be considered part of a state park.
I want to understand what are the possible consequences/punishment for this charge, and what are my chances of avoiding a conviction/jail time?

First, some information that I managed to find myself:

I was charged with "SCC B14 31.1 (a)" - which is Santa Clara County's "Parks and Recreation" ordinance code.
It does mention "any weapon", including "air or gas weapon". Although the citation says "firearm".

"SCC B14 31.1 (b)" merely states that violators of subsection (a) will be punishable as a misdemeanor. As far as I know - that can be anything from a $50 fine to 1 year in jail.

Further, I've found the Santa Clara Bail Schedule:
http://bailbondsdirect.com/bail-sche...l-Schedule.pdf
It seems that B14-31.1(a) Possess or Discharge firearms carries a default bail of $150...

I've had brief phone talks with a couple lawyers, they said that for this type of violation jail time is highly unlikely. One of them noted and empathized that this is a ordinance violation, which is supposedly less aggravated than i.e. state law or federal law violations.

I must note that I also had a Hunting Tresspass violation in November... Also with an airgun, went hunting Turkey for Thanksgiving with a friend. In season. Was our first time hunting... when we finally found the turkey got excited chasing - and went into some private land :-( F&G warden caught us returning to the car... But that's my only other crime.

Any additional info / your experience on similar cases in California, ideally in Santa Clara county - would be greatly appreciated.
Specifically:
1) What is the expected sentence for getting convicted of "Unlawful Discharge of Firearm" - on county's State Park land? If it was an airgun...
2) What are my odds of getting any jail time???
3) What are my chances of getting non-guilty on this, or reduced to an infraction, given that the park sign only says "No firearms", and airguns are not firearms?

Thank you!
