Okay, I have recently myself had a bad run in with the law. Now my friend who's just turned 19 and moved out of his parents house needs some extra cash. He wants to get into the making of fake ID's, specifically fake driver licenses.
I tried to talk him out of it, explaining how forging drivers licenses can be considered acts of terrorism, and how serious the crimes of forgery are.
But he thinks he can get away with making extremely realistic fake drivers licenses, (you know holograms, magnetic stripe, the works), by simply slapping a sticker on it that says, "For novelty use only." Of course this sticker would be able to be removed, otherwise no one would buy it. And his 'full-proof' plan is to have them sign a wavier saying they intend to use the ID for novelty purposes only and never try and use it as a form of official id.
Please, can someone with more knowledge about this than me explain why this is such a bad idea. And that doing those two things will do absolutely nothing.
