Minors Caught Shoplifting, Escorted Out of Store

My question involves criminal law for the state of: canada
So yesterday me and my friend shoplifted ( we are 15 ) it was some makeup items. We were walking around the store AWAY from the exit. She had some stuff up her sleeve but mine was all in my hands (not concealed) this guy that looked like an ordinary shopper ( who I assume is an undercover agent) came up to us and asked if my friend was stealing, she handed him the items and I did too. She then escorted us out of the store without taking ANY personal information from us. Nothing not even a name. We didn’t have to sign anything and our parents weren’t called. He said next time we would be in handcuffs on the ground. I think he let us off with a warning without entering us in his system because we complied and said we were sorry. We’re never going to do this again. I feel TERRIBLE. What will be the outcome of this? Should I be parrinoid? Or should I just be thankful I didn’t get entered into their system?

You should be paranoid. You should also stop stealing (in general) and stay away from that store in particular. Not all store personnel are as lenient as the kind soul that stopped you.

Thank you for your response, I’m honestly never going to attempt stealing again it’s wrong. I felt pressured by my friend but I know I’m at 100% fault. I’m very great full to the undercover guy for being so kind. But do you think I’ll get anything in the mail or a record? He didn’t say anything about it he just told us not to do it again but we are still allowed to shop there
