Default How to Find a Lawyer to Help With a New Jersey Traffic Ticket

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: New Jersey

Anyone can suggest me an attorney who are willing to fight the violation tickets ? I like to fight my tickets instead of negotiating with the prosecutor.

I wanted to go to trail myself, but I been having hard time getting the discovery, all i got was a copy of the ticket.

Therefore, I/m looking for an attorney who know his stuff and willing to fight..

I'm located in Passaic County NJ..

    Any suggestion recommendations greatly appreciated.

We don't do lawyer referrals. The county bar has a referral service, but you'd need to call them (nothing useful online) http://www.passaicbar.org/

Also, please keep everything in one thread. https://www.expertlaw.com/forums/sho...=224784&page=2

Open up a phone book or use Google or ask all your friends and co-workers for a recommendation.

What you should do is contact the public defender that works for the jurisdiction that your case will be tried in. They all have private practices. They know what is doable and what is not. You pay their fee and your likely to walk.

Specifically the PD pool attorneys are in private practice. The staff attorneys, not so much.

I don't think you understand how the PDs work in NJ. They are political appointments. They maintain their own practices. Cities are no different but the suburbs, well, they are individual practitioners that can make deals and plea bargain and know what the outcome will be before the defendant ever gets to court.
