My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida . A girl lied about her age and it was online she started sending pic and I'm 20 with autism I don't know better after 1 day of talking she had app POF a dating app saying she is 18 now she said she 16 as soon as she said that I block deleted and get away so I don't go to jail . Her mom contact me threaten me they live in Alabama and deleted her POF account taking proof off that I was telling the truth but she threaten me with warrent. But if she deleting evidence and letting her daughter dating a 23 year old .am I going to jail

Probably not, but there aren’t enough details here to really form a good opinion on it. Lots of these situations end up being scams. If the girl really was 16 and if she sent naked pictures of herself she’d risk prosecution for sending them if you faced prosecution for receiving them and her parents surely wouldn't be keen on that. So a lot of these things involve adults who then claim to be kids to scare the other person into coughing up money. So if a demand for money gets made along the way, that’s likely the situation you have.

That said, in the future the smart thing to do is not to exchange any nude or sexually suggestive photos with people you meet online. Until you meet them in person and know them well enough to know what their real age is, what they are like, etc., you want to tread carefully. People online may not be what you think they are.

No way for anyone here to give you absolute certainty that nothing will come of it. It seems unlikely with the little that you have shared as to what happened, but as I don’t know all the details, I cannot say for sure what risk you may have. All you can do is wait and see if anything happens.

If you continue this behavior. You stand a good chance of going to jail in the future. Having autism will not be a defense. You know exactly what you are doing. Anyone that exchanges pictures with someone they do not know in real life well enough to be sure of their age is taking a chance on going to jail.

The laws apply to everyone. Having a disability does not mean you are exempt from having to follow these laws .
