My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Florida
i am a remainderman to a FL property. The life tenant allowed her son to stay in the property as was her right but when she died he refuses to vacate the property. Obviously an eviction is not the proper action to take to remove him as he never paid rent or had a lease. So which action should i take an Ejection action or Unlawful Detainer action. would one be less expensive or lower the risk of complications than the other?
