is one months Idaho law? For this is didn’t bother to look it up but borrowed california’s Law. They allow 2 months. Many places charge more than one months rent

i just checked Idaho. Apparently there is no limit to how much can be charged.

But if you want to write of possibilities;

i could strong arm a landlord into rewuirimg no deposit and even pick up the first months rent and make him go get my furniture so it can be done for free.

Maybe the girl doesn’t have any friends where she is at; after all she is originally from Southern California. Maybe she can’t hall a trailer with her car and can’t drive s box truck and has nobody that can.

I provided a reasonable assemblage of costs to move into a new housing unit. You can toss out anything you want. Bottom line; $2000 might get you there but quite likely not.

Yep, as long s op is willing to wait it out that’s exactly how it can work out. He seemed to be interested in speeding up the process. That takes money. It’s up to op. I was simply giving him the bad news of the good news bad news game and suggesting his offer may not be adequate to avoid the bad news side of the equation.
But they sure don't need 10 times 2k to get there or even 5 times 2k to get there. That was the whole point.
