My question involves criminal law for the state of: North and South Carolina.

I was terminated Monday morning. The prior Friday morning I received a new company car and had to turn the old one in. I had the old car and I was the 3rd person to drive that car. I got it with 130 k miles. Turned it In with 140k miles. My boss and I cleaned it out together. Checked under all the sears. Wiped the car down. I left with my new company car and went to work. Worked the weekend. Then Monday they fired me and said they cleaned out my car more and found a straw with residue and a razor blade, but no drugs.

They said they turned it over to the police for investigation. They didn't even let me take a drug test.

The straw was under the back seat maybe. They wouldn't even tell me, wouldn't tell me what the residue was.

The only thing I can think of, is I drove a customer home In the car and she got in the back seat and spilled her bag.

Anyway. I remeber seeing a rusty razor while i was cleaning and didn't pay any mind. My boss said leave the rest of the stuff and I said ok.

So.. Can I go to jail for having a razor and a straw in a company car under a seat if there is in fact drugs on it.
They said it's my car so it has to be me and they will press charges. I don't know what to do.

I cleaned that car out and we didn't see a straw. Also.. car is in NC.. I live in SC.
