Default Will You Be Denied a B2 Visa Due to a Relative's Unlawful Presence in the U.S.

I am applying for B2 visa purely to visit my son and friends. However, my son is overstaying F1 visa since one year. What are the chances that my son's out of status position resulting my visa rejection. I had earlier worked in USA and returned back within time. I have good job and properties in my country to prove that I will return back.

Its unlikely that your son's overstay will impact your ability to enter the country on a visitor's visa.
