    Default Sexting With a Child in Canada

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: Canada but I'm looking for just guidelines

    So long story short. Met a girl online, we were starting to talk a bit suggestive. I asked her and she said she was in high school, but 18. I am 19. Immediately after I asked her for the first nude, which we were gearing up towards, she dissapeared. I'm paranoid she was a cop now. Can I be charged just for asking for a nude from someone I believed to be 18?

    Long story short - US law only here.

    In the future talk dirty to girls in person - not strangers online when you have no idea of their real age.
