Default Does a Restaurant Have the Right to Kick You Out if Your Child is Vomiting

My question involves civil rights in the State of: Connecticut

Does a restaurant have the right to klick you out if your child is vomiting?
Back story: My husband and I walked into Moe’s South west Grill this past weekend. As soon as I walked in my 15 month old started to puke on their carpet with the restaurant logo. I placed her on the floor so I could take off my sweater so she could finish vomiting in my sweater, when I hear several employees yell at me from behind the counter to go outside. They yelled at me to leave because she was throwing up.

Okay. They yelled at you because your child was throwing up. Did they say you were banned for life?

In general, sure, they can ask you to leave if you or your child is causing a disturbance or puking on the carpet. One can debate whether they should have helped out, been kind, or acted in some other way, but they were certainly able to ask you to take it outside to avoid further damage.

What do you think they should have done? What would you like to do in response? If you think the staff was rude and inconsiderate, complain to the management.

Yes they can demand you leave. Obviously it's not reslistic in most situations that you would have dragged your child outside (which quite possibly would have caused a larger mess anyway) but yes, a business can tell you to leave as long as it isn't based on unlawful discrimination.
