The basic deal is this: You can apply for UI. You should be honest in your application.
Meanwhile, assume the worst (that you will be denied) and look for another job -- you need to look for jobs, anyway, while you're collecting UI.
If you find a new job quickly, the UI issues become largely or entirely moot.

But chyvan is not the one who gets to decide, on the basis of a few posts on an internet board, what is or is not suitable work. What's more, chyvan does not have any clue whether the new work does or does not meet the prevailing conditions of work in the locality.
So chyvan has no business calling a quit a firing.
