    If this is the owner's guest then there's nothing you can do. You certainly can't kick her out. Not only can you get sued, you could also be evicted + face some jail time.

    If this is another tenant's guest who is staying there with the owner's approval, then you still can't do anything - including kicking her out. The only things you can do are:

    1. Install a lock on your door; and
    2. Report the houseguest's thefts to the police.

    One more thing, I have some knowledge of acquiring Chinese visas. Until recently it only took a few weeks, then the rules changed and now it takes several months. Sometimes even many many months. So you may be stuck with her for a good long while.
