Default How to Get Copies of Somebody's Text Messages

My question involves court procedures for the state of: TN

    Hi,

I am going to file a claim against a person, unfortunately the conversation that proves his guilt was over text messages and my wife erased the text by mistake.
I could not retrieve the text on my phone or through straight talk (because they don't keep records)

The person who texted me is using Sprint. Is it legal for me to contact sprint and request the log for the texts that were sent to me only, or is there any service/place I can request this information ?

    Default Re: Requesting Text Messages

You can request it but I can guarantee Sprint will tell you to take a hike if you don't have a court order/subpoena.
