My question involves a child custody case from the State of: new York. My husband and I are trying to get my nephew out of foster care. We are going to court for custody but the law guardian is against any of the family getting his. They said its because the judge familiar with some of my family. they also said because he has been in foster care for his whole life like 6months and that my husband and I had involvement with cps even though they know everything has been unfounded. How can they use those things against us? We just want to get him out of foster care and with his blood family but all they care about is money. Do we have a chance of winning or should we just drop it?
