Default What Can You Do if Courts and Protective Services Don't Act on Abuse Reports

My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Kansas......what do you do when your child is being sexually molested by another little girl and they are forced to interact with one another bc she is the fathers finances 6 yr old, her own father calls her a liar and you reported it to all the proper authorities, go to court with evidence by medical professionals and the judge keeps putting your child back in the environment because she's only 4 yrs old and the judge didn't like the way the forensic interview questions were asked, and actually words the father more visit time subjecting your little girl to more time with her abuser and your child keeps coming home complaining of being touched and none of the proper authorities will protect your child, and there are 16 child protective service investigations reported for my child by her therapist and all were ruled unsubstantiated ,what do you do as a mother?

Okay ... a 4 year old girl is allegedly being "molested" by a 6 year old? Is this 6 year old a boy or girl? What is the nature of the "molest" activity? There is a reason I ask.

When you say there is something from "medical professionals", what does that mean? It is highly unlikely that ANY "medical professional" would state, unequivocally, that some sort of molestation occurred. The best one can generally hope for is that a doctor would not be able to conclude the source of an irritation or injury, or that the observed anomaly was "consistent" with activity that MIGHT have been caused by whatever is alleged.

And "16" reports from a therapist? Are these reports all for acts alleged to have occurred by the 6 year old against your 4 year old daughter?

I have to say that I am rather reluctant to believe that if there is such a true mountain of evidence of abuse that nothing has been done to alter visitation. Certainly, no crime is possible by the 6 year old, but if these were true, then something somewhere is happening ... and it wouldn't be good. Also, I have been the guy doing just these kinds of investigations for several years, and I have some thoughts; but I would need more info - more than might be possible (or recommended) here. You might consider engaging an attorney to assist you. If nothing else, perhaps an attorney might be able to explain the process and put what is happening into perspective for you.

A doctor in any state is almost assuredly a mandatory reporter. If a doctor believes here is molestetion it must be reported to the authorities (police/cps).

Though she does not indicate that a "medical professional" made a report, only that they brought in evidence provided by a medical professional. This could very well be an exam made allegedly after the fact as the child is brought into the primary care physician, or an ER doctor, and asked to examine the child for evidence of abuse. MOST doctor's exams involving molestation come about after the allegation and the complaining party attempts to shoehorn the doctor's conclusions into the narrative they wish it to be.

In this case it seems there have been more than a dozen complaints and still nothing has come of it. THAT says something in and of itself.

I am curious as to how this all started.

What the 4 year old initially said, and when.

So far I'm with Carl on this one.
