You should contact the nearest consulate or embassy for your home country (which isn't France if you were there illegally) to see about getting yourself home.

What kind of visa did you come over on? Was it a Fiancé Visa? If so, you have way overstayed. If so, repatriation to your country of origin is probably your best bet at this time.

Was the woman wrong for doing what she did? Yup.

Does it give you any special rights to remain in the country? Nope.

If you leave willingly, you might be eligible to return in the future. If you wait until you get caught and shown the door, you may not.

Oh, I understand she did you wrong. That was almost 2 years ago. You should have been taking steps from the minute you arrived and she was nowhere to be found to get yourself out of trouble.

You're unlikely to ever get any "justice" out of this as she is in the wind and you'll never find her. Move on. If you don't like it here, go somewhere else.

We agree that it was not a nice thing for her to do, but people do have the right to change their minds about marriage. That's the risk you took by coming here to be married to someone you didn't really know.

No one on a legal website is going to advise you to become an illegal alien in another country or in the US.

Your girlfriend should have never gotten involved with you in France. She finally got smart and decided not to collaborate with someone who has no respect for the law.

You should return to your home country. Then you can formulate a plan to immigrate LEGALLY.

How long after you arrived in the US did she dump you?

    OP,

The only reason you appeared to have become involved with this woman is the chance to immigrate to the US legally. You no longer have a way to do so. You do not get to make the rules; you do not even get to "like" the rules; you get to follow the rules. You are not innocent; you are a user. So stop your whining and be a honorable man and return to your home country. The faster you leave, the sooner you can get on with your life.

If you need help doing so, contact an immigrant services agency where you are living or your country's nearest consulate.
