Can grounds for divorce in Florida benefit me in my divorce case?
Fault is not relevant to the divorce itself, but may have relevance to some related issues. For example:

If the fault involves misuse of marital assets (e.g., paying for a love interest's apartment), then that can be a factor in the division of the marital estate.

If the fault involves something relevant to issues of child custody (e.g., physical abuse, criminal conduct, substance abuse), then a court could consider the behavior as relevant to a custody determination.

If the fault involves adultery, and the adultery has somehow affected the financial needs of the innocent spouse, Florida allows the adultery to be considered in setting spousal support (alimony), but that will be a rarity.
