Why Would Somebody Tell You to Stop Contacting Them

I am a 68 yr old female, he is 57.

I have no record, not even parking tickets. I am employed by a school system and get fingerprinted, background checks and a certificate renewed every year for twent-four years.

He was convicted of child abuse on testimoney of the childs mother and was given no opportunity to cross-examine his accuser.
My friend was given a life sentence but is now out on parole.

A parole officer gave him the restriction but no explanation of the action.

No, we use my 'phone numbers and they have unlimited calls and texts.

Now I have another question or two.

Since no one told me not to get in touch with him
Does "no contact" include things like e-mails, texts, private messaging' etc. or does it mean only that he is to have personal contact with me?
So far we have never met in person since we live 2,000 miles from each other.

I do not want to misstep and send him back to prison, but I sorely miss our talks!

Just be glad he didn't scam you out of any money and go on with your life. Aren't there any groups in your town where you can meet people your age or your likes who aren't criminals? I'm sure there are "MeetUps" in your area. (Google it). Why would you ever want to even converse with someone who was convicted of child abuse and got a life sentence?

Being employed by the school system, why would you even risk your career associating with someone like this?

No contact means no contact. Move on with your life and please find some friends who are nearby and not criminals.

hr for me you and free9man both think he has asked me for, or wanted me to give, him something. The opposite is true, he has offered to give me something. He offered to send me round-trip tickets, not money, tickets to visit him if I wanted to. Does that sound like a scam?

By the way how long does it take to get permission to move to another state. He wants to go back to his home state where he has an address and a job waiting for him to come home.

Yes it does sound like a scam or at least empty promises. Why would you go meet some guy you've never met who lives 2000 miles away and is a felon probably? He could do anything to you and you would have no one to help you!! You know how they tell kids and teens "don't meet someone in person who you talk to online?" Same applies here. That is a very scary idea to go all the way out there and meet some stranger. He could very well do horrible things to you. You never know.

Now it's two life sentences? You were saying one before...either you aren't getting the actual story or you're pulling our legs. Nothing you have said makes any sense at all. Cut your losses and just run from this guy.

The initial response said life sentence. Now two...if this is the same lollipop and feline felony person they were much more subtle with the trolling. If this isn't a troll...then a very naïve person.

I think I am the one lied to. I just read another account that included the doctor's report on the condition of the child that was raped. That report went into greater detail and I am getting more and more disenchanted.
