    Default Falsely Accused of Shoplifting

i had a bad experince in cvs, here the letter i typed up and plan to mail to corporate headquarters, what do u guys think i should do additionally.

On the evening in question I walked into CVS store located on front street holding a 22 oz can of Arizona kiwi strawberry drink. I walked down the isle seeking lotion for a friend. I then changed my mind halfway down the isle as I decided I would do it later and proceeded to leave. As I walked out of the store an employee by the name of Eve Gray called me back into the store claiming that I had stolen the drink. I proceeded to tell Ms.Gray I never even touched, opened or got near the cooler where the drinks were stored and that the video tape would show that. Following my statements to Ms. Gray she acted unresponsive and proceeded to call the police. Eve gray realized shortly before the police arrived that the store did not even sell that flavor of Arizona and proceeded to provide excuses that people do this all the time. I have used CVS many a time for my shopping needs but was unaware that your stores practiced racial profiling against its Afro-American customers. I would like to inform you that your cvs stores will never entertain my business ever again and I am very, very disappointed with your discriminatory practices. I hope the practice of this deiscrimination is not a company wide ideology. I can only hope that if the forementioned individual’s actions do not represent your company that the problem will be rectified.

Your letter was fine until you played the "Race Card". Rewrite it without that. You are in the right and race played no role in this nor can you prove that. The fact that you were wrongly detained will suffice

agreed with panther.. I HATE the race card being used. She was just stupid and made a mistake. I am sure it had nothing to do with the color of ones skin. I do like your letter and hope it gets a quick response for you.

And I was once accused of writing something nasty in the snow with urine until my brothers comfirmed that fact that I was indeed female and had no way of doing the deed. Being black, white, yellow, or green is not the reason for being accused of a thief.
I don't see anywhere in you statement that Ms Gray stopped you for being black. She stopped you because she thought you stole the drink.
