Default Protective Services Suspects an Innocent Parent of Not Reporting Abuse

My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Ohio. Ok so about a month ago my child and another child told me my then boyfriend touched them. I called the cops and got the other parents involved. During the investigation the other child told cps that she had told me about the"touching" before and I called her a liar. ( That never happened, in fact she's been asked by multiple people before the ex and me and during our relationship. We was always told,"no one has ever touched me I would tell if they had.") In any which case cps is now treating me like I'm a criminal. They've held 3 separate hearings for the custody of my children. The police from my understanding are not even actively looking for him. Back cps is destroying my life. Please help.

The emphasized is a little bit alarming ... how many times has your daughter been asked this question, and under what circumstances? Who was asking?

I read it to mean that the "other child" is claiming to have told the OP. Although why the OP or other people would be asking this child if she'd been touched ("We was always told,"no one has ever touched me I would tell if they had") is puzzling.

If/when something like this is suspected by a parent and/or others it is common to ask the child about it. The fact this was suspected by the parents and/or others may be a big factor in CPS trying to take the children. Especially if the boyfriend stayed around the child/children for a time after the suspicions arose.
