Default Does Past Failed Marriage Affect the Application of Permanent Resident

    Case:

An Indian woman married to an EU citizen 5 years ago and moved to France. However, They end up getting a divorce because they don't get along anymore. She is currently engaged to a U.S citizen and want to move here and start a life with her soon to be husband.

Would the previous failed marriage affect the application of being a permanent resident ?

Maybe. It will depend upon the full facts, not the least of which is whether she actually marries her fiancé.
