My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

So, I decided I wanted to help out the judge that is deciding my convictions to see if he would drop the case. I got the idea from another poster on here. First, I tracked down some friends of his who told me where he lives and where his kids go to school. I went to the school that afternoon to pick up his kids. I told them their dad had told me to pick them up. They got in, and I drove to the judge's house with them. I put the dirty laundry I found in there in the washer and then took the kids and his dog out for a walk. Neither himself or his wife were due home for a few hours. When I got back, I put the laundry in the dryer and began preparing a lobster dinner for the family. But when I started cleaning the house, that's when things got bad. I had a window open to clean it, and a seagull must have smelled the food cooking and it flew in. It banged into and smashed an expensive lamp, and in trying to get it out I accidentally caused some damage to the walls. When it was out, I went into the basement to get supplies to fix the damage. But i had forgotten about the dinner. I smelled it burning and I had to throw it in the garbage. So instead, I ordered pizza to the house. BUT, the place i called from, it turns out he is a pretty regular customer there (I found the number for the pizza place on the fridge) and the employee knew I didn't live there and alerted the judge. Within 3 minutes, the house was surrounded with police cars and a chopper even arrived. The chief officer took out his loudspeaker and demanded to know if the kids were in there. I said yes that I had picked them up from school. I was told to come out with my hands up. I tried to run out the back but was arrested when I got outside. One of the charges I got was kidnapping which I don't understand because all I did was bring the kids home.
Is there any way I can beat the kidnapping charge?
