The criminal offense, a Class B misdemeanor, carries a potential penalty of up to thirty days in jail, a fine of up to $1,500, or both. However, in juvenile court the court has discretion to impose a sentence that it believes is most likely to help rehabilitate the minor, so that limit does not technically apply.
When you choose to repeat a crime after previously being caught, the court is likely to conclude that you need a more serious consequence than you previously received. When you show a pattern of criminal conduct that suggests the possibility of alcoholism, the court is likely to order a screening and assessment, and to impose a period of supervision during which you'll be tested for the use of alcohol and illicit drugs.
