My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Texas
I was in a minor wreck two years ago where an ambulance was called without my request or permission. As soon as they arrived on site I promptly signed the refusal waiver and sent them on their way. Now the city of Van Alstyne, Texas, is sending me through collections to the amount of $405 just for them showing up apparently, after I already disputed the first bill over the phone. How is this even legal?!!
