Default Helping a Minor Travel to Another State for a Romantic Relationship

My question involves marriage law for the State of: NY and KY
I have a 30 year old son who lives in Ky, he has met online a young lady aged 17, who will be 18 in September and has a son by a previous relation, she will graduate from HS in June, her mother is deceased, her father is alive but not a part of her life, she lives with an aunt and an uncle, she is wanting to come to Ky with her son, can she legally do this with no issues from either the state of Ky or NY?

How about she waits until September so there is absolutely, positively no way that it could possibly cause legal problems regarding her moving herself?

The problem she will have is the child she has with someone else. The child's father can contest the child being removed from the state.

The very MINUTE she turns 18, she is free to go anywhere she wants. Of course, as free9man says, she may not be able to bring her son with her, but SHE can move to any state that pleases her - when she is a legal adult.

As long as she is still 17, there is no guarantee that she can leave without repercussions.

And what's wrong with your 30 year old son, anyway, that he finds equal companionship in a 17 year old who lives in another state and has already shown questionable judgement in her life?

Why are you trying to help your son get with this young woman? Can't he find women his own age in KY? Or even a 17 year old in KY? This screams disaster...
