My question involves a marriage in the state of: South Dakota

Hi! I recently discovered, through the home-buying process, that a Judgment for me to make a payment to my ex-wife's attorney in a divorce case from a few years ago was never satisfied. I did make the payment shortly after the trial, as ordered, but a "Satisfaction of Judgment" was never filed. I am exploring options for satisfaction (with no contact information for my ex-wife and not much help from the attorney of hers that I paid), and I discovered this form:
http://ujs.sd.gov/uploads/secondcirc...mtbyDebtor.pdf

I think that the form is what I am looking for and intend to complete it and file it, but I am confused about the second page-"Affidavit of Service by Mail". Is this only for those who are requesting a Satisfaction of Judgment because the defendant refuses to file it? I am not mailing my ex-wife anything, since I do not have any contact information for her.

I do have my receipt from the payment I made a few years ago and would include it with the "Motion for Satisfaction of Judgment.

Any thoughts on whether or not I'm heading in the right direction would be welcomed as well.
