    Default What to Do if Your Lawyer Fails to Appear in Court

    My question involves malpractice in the state of: indiana
    Is there anything I can do if my lawyer missed my court date because he himself was locked up for the same thing he is representing me for ? I paid him $750 for a retainer and he missed my court date because he was locked up that day.I don't know what to do with him

    If you want to hire a different lawyer, try asking for a refund. Let us know if you get one.

    If you choose, you can file a complaint with the state bar.
