    Default Shoplifting in South Dakota

    I was recently arrested for shoplifting and have hired an attorney to represent me. I am 29 and have no criminal history and work for a finance company. Do you know what the FIRREA (Financial Institution Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act) is and how this would affect my employment? This is talked about in the company handbook and I want to know if shoplifting is considered a crime of dishonesty under the law?

    Of course it is! How can you think theft would not be dishonest!
