That will depend upon the full facts, the laws of your state, and the position taken by the parties involved. If we are to guess that you owe somebody $12 and perhaps some additional fees relating to a canceled check or chargeback as a result of your action, to minimize the chance of anything more happening it would seem sensible to pay them what you owe.
I already asked them to pay it back they the only way is to reverse the charge with your bank .. but it's too late for that.. so they said don't worry about it.

Just wanna if it could be considered friendly fraud.. even though I let them it was a one time mistake.. tried to fix it..
