Default Charged with Break and Enter After Going to a Judge's House

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
So, I decided to try to convince the judge to drop all criminal charges against me. I found out where he lives using the yellow pages and then I went to his house and used lockpicks to open the door while he was out. I cleaned the whole house and made a fancy dinner, and when I heard his car pull up I went out to the driveway to greet him with his slippers. He saw me standing there and got a strange look on his face. Then he drove away and 3 minutes later a police vehicle came zooming down the street. The officers got out and put me in handcuffs and searched the house. I tried to explain what I was doing but the police and judge didn't want to hear it. The judge decided to press charges.

He didn't even taste the dinner I worked so hard to make.

You make up such funny stories.

You didn't actually ask a question, but what you describe is sufficient to support a burglary charge.

But I didn't steal anything, in fact I helped out the judge. I also didn't damage the lock or anything else in the house. Wouldn't I have had to steal something in order to be charged with burglary?
