    Default Questions on Emancipation in Kentucky

    I am 16 and my dad has just filed for a divorce in the state of kentucky. I am having a really hard time facing the fact that my father is no longer living with my mother and I. My mom is also having a hard time with this. I feel as if she can not take care of me. I refuse to live with my father because of what he is doing to my family. I was wondering if there was anyway a judge would grant me emancipation under my circumstances.

    Short answer no! Your state Kentucky has no emancipation statute. Furthermore you are no self supporting. Sorry you will need to find a different solution
