Default Can You Sue the Store Over Being Pinched by a Lobster You Were Trying to Steal

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan

I was in a grocery store and decided to reach into the lobster rank to steal a live lobster. I picked one up and managed to place it in my purse like a small dog, however one of the other lobsters pinched me. The store stopped me and called the police. Can I sue the store because I was pinched by one of their lobsters?

Generally speaking, nothing prevents you from filing frivolous lawsuits or trying to convince a court to award damages for an obviously false story. You can face negative consequences for doing so, ranging from dismissal to sanctions to being declared a vexatious litigant to perjury charges.
