Unhappy Sponsoring Somebody For A Green Card

    Greetings,
I'd like to get a little advise from you all about a situation I find myself in now.
I am a natural citizen (by birth) of the US. I have met this wonderful woman from Mongolia who is here on a student visa to learn English. She has been here for a few years, but we just met only a few months ago. She does have a sister that has a green card and who is married (to another green card holder) and living here. I would eventually like to marry this woman, but I don't want her to think it is under the pretense of getting citizenship. Nor do I want her to think that I think she only married me for citizenship.
My mother became a US citizen just by marrying my father while he was in the military in the early '70's. I know the laws have changed since then and it's not that easy anymore.
I want to help her at least get a green card first, then think about the whole marriage subject.

I guess my question's are: (based on what little research I've done)

Which forms does she (or Sister Sponsor) need to fill out with USCIS? (I-765, I-130, I-864, I-485 are the ones I have printed to take to her. Am I missing any? Is this overkill?)

Does her Green Card Holding Sister really have to sponsor her, or can she do this all on her own?

What does/can she do with just a student visa? (She was working at a restaurant, but has been told she can not work there anymore because she doesn't have a work visa?)

She is the same age as myself (32), and feels pretty silly about not being able to work to support herself, so any advise on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
*Edit* I meant to post this under the Non-Immigrant (Temporary) Visas category. Could the moderator please move it?
