i dont know what i can do.....i am 16 years old i live with my father in Tennessee.... how do i show a judge my father is emtionally abuseing me? he doesnt touch not with is hands but with his words....im wanting to get emancipated or his legal rights taken away... i love my father but i dont like to lay down at night and cry because im not good for any thing or at least thats what he tells me every day how do i show a judge that it seems like it would be his word against mine...HELP what can i do?

Your comments elsewhere that you're habitually truant and that you have been brought before a juvenile court over your truancy? That type of thing weighs very heavily against emancipation. What financial means do you have to support yourself independently?

Have you tried to get help from your mother?
