States in the south are going to be the hardest hit. Only a few of them expanded Medicaid. But, that's just part of what they will lose.

It's going to get interesting as more and more people are negatively impacted that voted for this administration.
Expanded Medicaid has been a success in the states that have it. Fewer emergency room visits, higher worker productivity because people can now see their doctor for routine care and are absent from work far less. Repeal is going to be very costly for the states that benefit from it the most like Kentucky and Arkansas.

I'm surprised, it's the first time he's voted against one of his own in interests. The Trump (so-called) Unversity like most for-profit institutions, exists by exploiting the federal loan programs to bilk both the student and the taxpayer.

Louisiana expanded Medicaid in July 2016. It will also be hit hard if they go to Medicaid Block Grants. Louisiana has cut Medicaid to the bone. Louiaiana's previous governor, Bobby Jindal, left it in a financial mess.
