Details about the fraud happened with my bank account with Lloyds: I came to UK for the first time in Feb 2010 for studies that time I open my first bank account in UK at Lloyds. Due my person reason I decided to go back to India in 3 month and later I came back to UK for studies with Bedfordshire University in 2011 to Peruse Masters. In 2012 when I was an International student from India. I got a job offer to work from Home. They ask me my identity details as passport copy and my bank account details by HR. After taking my bank details they transferred some funds on my bank account and within few hours it was taken out automatically. I have inquired this with the bank and they ask me that have you given your bank confidential details to anyone for which I replied that I have got this job offer and I have given them my bank account number and sort code with my identity details nothing more than that. As soon as I released that there is being a fraud happen with my account I contacted with police and did a police complain against the Techadvice-uk.net company. I have also send this details to Lloyds bank that I have done a police complain for what has happened with my bank account, but the Lloyds bank put my account on hold for inquire and few days later I received the letter from Lloyds that my account is going to be closed. Few days later I also received a letter from Barclays bank that they are also going to close my Bank account without giving me any reason. I have also written letter to Barclays bank explain what has happened with my Lloyds bank account and telling them that I was the victim and the fraud was happen with me, they too didn’t contact me and closed my bank account.
Luckily I was left with one Bank account with HSBC which was an Amana account (which don’t provide any interest or credit). In 2014 when I wanted HSBC to transfer my Bank account from Amana to Current account, they transferred it but they kept my account on hold for a week, which later they release it from hold. But since once when applied for Credit card from HSBC it had being rejected. I concluded that may be my credit score is not that good as I believed that I have received a profession job recently so it would take some time to build the credit score.
In 2016 when my credit score by Experian say excellent and I am being paying all my bill regular and maintaining my account in a good condition. Still when I apply for Credit card I was being declined. I never knew what was the reason behind that as I was never being told by the bank the correct reason for the decline. I have check my Credit report from all the credit agencies to make sure that there is nothing on the credit which can affect my browning, but all my credit report is clean without any errors.
I only came to know about my name is still in Black-list of bank records by Nationwide. So, I would like Lloyds bank to please look back in to the matter and please resolve this issue and remove my name from the Black-list. As this is effecting my whole future in UK. I cant apply for mortgage and want to buy a house. It being five years since that issue happen still i am suffering from it,so can i come out of it. What are the option i have?
