    Default Can a Landlord Ask if You Have Ever Filed for Bankruptcy

    In Florida, is a landlord permitted to ask a tenant if he has ever filed for bankruptcy? Even if the bankruptcy was more than ten years ago?

    The landlord may ask that question under Florida law, and may consider the bankruptcy when evaluating whether to approve the tenant.
