Default Can You Set Aside a Divorce Settlement if a Judgment Has Not Yet Been Entered

The parties to a New York divorce entered into a settlement agreement, which was reduced to writing and signed by both parties. After signing the agreement, the wife had a sudden health crisis and will be unable to return to work, and thus wants to seek spousal support, which is barred by the settlement. She brought a motion to set aside the agreement, but the court denied her motion. What can she do?
