Default Affidavit Necessary if I Worked Without a Permit

I am married to an American citizen and we don't know if we should put my income in the affidavit because I don't have a social so is on the category of unlawful but the instructions say that we have to put my income because I'm immigrating with my son. Can I leave it in blank? Do I have to fill a 864a?
